How We View Prayer

Conversation with God.
Every day. In every season.

We believe prayer is conversation with God. It is worship, honesty, confession, gratitude, silence, dependence, and trust.

Sometimes prayer is joyful. Sometimes prayer is desperate. Sometimes prayer is simply sitting quietly before God when words are hard to find.

We pray because God hears, God cares, and God is present.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Prayer Guidance

Simple ways to grow in prayer.

Prayer looks different from person to person and season to season. These reflections are here to help make prayer feel approachable, personal, and rooted in everyday life.

How To Pray

Prayer does not need perfect words. Start honestly. Talk to God about your fears, gratitude, struggles, hopes, and questions.

Prayer Through Scripture

Many people pray by slowly reading scripture and reflecting on what God may be saying through it. Even a single verse can become a meaningful prayer.

Different Ways People Pray

Some pray while walking. Some journal. Some pray quietly in silence. Others pray through worship music or in conversation with others.

When Prayer Feels Difficult

There are seasons where prayer feels hard or distant. God is still present in those moments, even when words are difficult to find.

A Simple Prayer

“Lord, help me draw near to You today. Give me peace where there is anxiety, wisdom where there is uncertainty, and trust to follow You one step at a time.”
