For centuries, people from Europe and beyond have visited the Tomb of Apostle James the Elder in northwest Spain. By tradition, they go on foot. The network of routes is called “Camino de Santiago” or “Way of Saint James.”
The Camino is physical.
The Camino is spiritual.
The Camino is social.
The Camino is fun.
Our group will join the Camino in Leon. We journey 190 miles over 13 days. We stay in hostels, especially for pilgrims.
If you think a “pilgrimage” is not for you, think again.
For more information, contact camino@westchurch.org. Full details will be available at the information meeting on Sunday, October 27.@ 10 am in the Vestry.
