Supplemental Ministry Teams
Family Kitchen – Betsy Tombarelli
The Family Kitchen provides food for local families in need. The Family Kitchen is open on Wednesday evenings, 6pm – 7pm.
Women’s Prison Ministry (WIT Salisbury) – Pam Brown & Mary Lou Noonan
Women in Transition is a short term prison facility designed to help
incarcerated women overcome addiction and transition to a substance free
life. Our role is to lead a Bible study on Friday nights that
encourages following Jesus in everyday life.
Local Area Ministry Partners *
Common Ground – Jim Herrick
To build, unite, and call the body of Christ to action through the
compassionate feeding, clothing, and caring for our community’s
low-income and homeless residents.
Community Meals – Steve Simmons
A community meal is held each Monday in the Haverhill Citizens Center.
This meal is free and open to the public. Meals are prepared by a local
and chef and supported by various community organizations. Service
begins at 4 PM.
Habitat for Humanity – Diane Senno
Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity is part of a nonprofit housing
ministry that shares a global vision where everyone has a decent place
to live. We bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Lazarus House Ministries – Mike Villafane
By living the gospel message upon which the ministry is founded we
restore dignity and self-respect to empower guests – poor, underserved
and homeless individuals and families.
Pregnancy Care Center – Joann Tecce
The Pregnancy Care Center offers life affirming services, mentoring and education to moms and families in need. They have centers in Haverhill, Lawrence and Lowell. If you think you might be pregnant and need support or are grieving from a past abortion, please visit us at the Pregnancy Care Center website for a full list of services and hours of operation.
