Faith and Art Workshop: New clothes for a New Year

This workshop will help us to explore the intersection of art and our faith with a special

focus on how God might be leading us to put on the qualities of Jesus just as we put on

new clothes for the new year. Using meditation on Scripture, color, collage, simple

drawing and glueing, we will take time to connect with God, to express our emotions

and receive God’s love, to listen for the Holy Spirit and also to play and have FUN.

Date: Saturday morning: January 17

Time: 9 am—1 pm Cost: $5.00 donation to cover supplies. (Come anyway if you can’t

afford this)

Location: Beth Steele’s house, 46 Lakewood Terrace, Haverhill in basement studio

Materials and snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring art supplies, papers or

magazine pictures that you might want to use.

No artistic talent is required.
